I was 15 years old when I started filming on super-8, with a Braun-Nizo 801.
I filmed all sorts of things. At 19, I went to Greenland. That's where I made my first documentary.
At the Film Academy in Amsterdam, I learned 16mm, 35mm, and video. I bought my first professional camera, an Eclair ACL.
Then came the Arriflex SR and the AƤton XTR. I shot some fiction, but primarily documentaries and developed a personal style. The films won awards at home and abroad.
Now I work digitally,
an exploratory journey as well.
2026: The Man with a Smile,
my first personal film.
